Drifter House 7: The Bachelorette (Part 2: Day 1)

The first morning Abby was the first to get up. She was informed by the producers that she should get breakfast ready for the guys...gluttons get especially irritable when their food is late.

"Wait a minute, why do I have to cook? Shouldn't you be providing food for us?"

*producer mumbles something about budgets and wanders off*

The guys are up, and sure enough they're hungry! They all dig into the scrambled eggs (the only thing Abby knows how to cook) and she is relieved when she hears no complaints. Time to start flirting these guys up and see who she might be compatible with!

Well, except for Casey, who is sleeping in, tired out from the intense session of yoga he did when they arrived the night before (seriously, everyone else hit the pool and the bar, he hit the yoga mat). He did eventually get up though, and Abby made sure to include him in her flirting rotation.

Abby tried to give each of the guys equal time to get to know them better, but in between she had to clean up all the dishes strewn around the place (the producers can't afford a maid either, apparently).
She'd barely had the house straightened up when the producers informed her that it was time to set up for the first party.

"You actually sprang for a caterer, I'm impressed. Or I would be if she wasn't currently swimming in my pool after leaving a huge mess all over the counters without actually cooking a single thing."

*producer mumbles about budgets again* "Just go get to know the guys more"

Abby spent time with each of the men. By the end of the night, she knew who was definitely staying...

Casey, her late-rising yoga lover! She found them having a surprisingly strong initial connection, despite the late start they got off to.

She had to give him an embrace instead of a rose because the producers hadn't bought any yet...they claim they're coming but she'll  believe it when she sees it.

And sadly, she had to send one home, and that was Gustavo. Despite the magnificent mustache, Abby felt she clicked the least with him.
An exit interview was not conducted as Gustavo was busy begging on the corner for cab fare as the producers were too cheap to pay for it.
